Going the extra mile… on a 90km Ultramarathon

In celebration of her ‘no limits’ dedication and a focus for the finish line, Knight Frank wishes Southern Suburbs Sales Manager Lisa Connellan a successful 2018 Comrades Marathon as she takes part, for the second time, in the world’s largest and oldest ultramarathon.

Representing one of 4 600 participating female runners, Connellan will be facing different challenges on this year’s ‘down’ run which starts in Pietermartizburg and finishes in Durban, as she attempts to improve on her last performance.

Competition aside, Connellan says; “The start of the Comrades is absolutely electric

and probably one of the most memorable moments. The experience is truly humbling with unwavering support along the way; there’s not one kilometer that you run alone.”

Knight Frank wishes all 21 000 runners participating in the 93rd Comrades Marathon a safe and memorable race day.

The Comrades Marathon Association supports 6 official charities which include Community Chest Durban and Pietermaritzburg, Wildlands Conservation Trust, World Vision South Africa, Childhood Cancer Foundation of SA, Hillcrest AIDS Centre Trust and the Hospice Palliative Care Association.
