Negotiating in a buyers market

As agents, we are frequently told by buyers that it is a buyers market and that our clients must be open to offers.

Educating our clients on the market and pricing has been a steep learning curve for many agents in the industry but coupled with a multitude of property market related emails from the likes of Property 24 and BizCommunity, the message has sunk in for the most part and has been accepted.

It is highly likely that a property has been priced in the current market, therefore the client won't be necessarily open to a hard hitting offer.

At Knight Frank we will guide you with honest advice on the pricing of a property and how long it has been on the market. The price of a property is not always the reason for a lack of sale, it can often be the demand at the time for a certain type of house or the price bracket it is in.
